George Ellison is a former player for Union City in Oklahoma. He is notable for being the tournament high scorer at the first NAQT HSNCT held in 1999.

Despite Ellison's Union City team finishing in 18th place (out of 26 teams) with a 4-6 record, Ellison managed a statline of 13-73-9-88.00 to finish first individually among all scorers,a full 15.00 PPG ahead of Brian Udoff from Walton.

Ellison attended the University of Central Oklahoma, and Oklahoma City Community College, sandwiched around service as an electrician's mate on nuclear submarines for the U.S. Navy. As of 2016, he currently works for G.E. monitoring wind turbines.
