The Winchester Thurston School is a private K-12 college prep day school in Pittsburgh. During the mid 2010s, they have consistently been one of the anchors of Pittsburgh Area quizbowl, winning numerous tournaments in the area. They tied for 21st at the 2013 HSNCT behind the play of Nathaniel Brodsky. Four seasons later tied for 9th at the 2017 HSNCT, behind a true four man effort featuring Jacob Dubner, Nathaniel Hull, Aiden Place, and EJ Eppinger each scoring at least 19 points per game.
