Academic Questions was a question-writing company founded in the late 1990's by Jeremy Krug. It featured one-liners, spelling questions, and other things generally considered today to be bad quizbowl, along with the immortal bonus leadin "Who wrote the following books?".

A notice on the company's webpage claims that "Our question-writing service will be unavailable until March 1, 2004, due to a leave of absence taken by the owner." However, given that this notice is still up, it is unlikely that this "question-writing service" will ever return.

The page advertising sample questions notes that they were "used at a high-school level Freshman-Sophomore Scholastic Bowl tournament in Southern Illinois." It is unknown what tournament this is actually referring to.
