Great Neck South High School is a public high school in Lake Success, New York. Great Neck South typically competes in the Long Island, North Jersey, New York City, and Hudson Valley regions. They were in the top tier of Tri-State area teams from 2013 until 2017, ubiquitously appearing in the playoffs and placing very highly at every tournament they attended.
History
They finished tied for 49th at the 2011 HSNCT and tied for 21st at the 2012 HSNCT. They won the first NAQT Metro New York State Championship in 2012, and won again the next time the tournament was held in 2015; they also tied for 21st at the 2015 HSNCT. They also tied for 13th at the 2016 HSNCT and 15th at the 2017 HSNCT.
