After joining the Langley quizbowl club in early 2018, it was quickly discovered that Jeffrey had several deep pockets of real world history knowledge. His potential as a history player earned him a spot on the B team roster at the 2018 NSC. However, a (literal) last-minute roster change put him on the A team for the weekend. Unfazed, Jeffrey took on the role as Langley A's 4th scorer and made several impressive buzzes throughout the tournament, many of which helped secure key wins for the team that helped it to a 48th place finish--the highest in the team's history.
