Ian Eppler plays quizbowl for Brown. He was a member of PACE from 2009 and served as At-Large board member from 2010 until his resignation in July 2011.
College
Ian played in a few college tournaments while he was still in high school. Along with Guy Tabachnick and Ben Cohen, he won the 2010 Division II ICT. Ian and Ben also placed second in Division II at 2010 ACF Nationals. With Guy Tabachnick, Ben Cohen, and Daniel Klein, he placed 3rd in Division I at the 2011 ICT.
High School
During his high school career at Georgetown Day School, Ian was a three-time NAQT HSNCT all-star, from 2007 to 2009, an NSC All-Star in 2009, and the winner of numerous individual scoring awards at regular-season events. He (usually) led the 2009 Georgetown Day team in scoring en route to a 3rd place finish at the 2009 NSC and a 5th place finish at the 2009 HSNCT.
Writing and Editing
Ian co-edited the No Name Tournament, run during the fall of 2008. He was a writer for HSAPQ, and contributed to EFT 4 and 5, as well as the 2010 Ben Cooper Memorial Tournament
