Bernie is a public high school in southeastern Missouri. Bernie won MAA state titles in 1993 in Class 1, 1994 in Class 2, and 1995 in Class 1. Bernie won its first MSHSAA state title in Class 2 in 2002, which was the only time Richland did not win MSHSAA Class 2 until Barstow did so at the tournament's fifteenth edition in 2010.
