Ben Zhang played for Ladue, where he won the 2013 NSC, and Columbia where he won the 2019 ACF Nationals. His Missouri team also won the 2013 NASAT.
In 2012, he recruited Seth Teitler, Ankit Aggarwal, and several other players to work on YMIR, a mythology side tournament that was first run on the Saturday of the 2012 PACE NSC. He also served as a head editor for LIST III and IV.
In 2014, Zhang received, with Jialin Ding, the MOQBA Award for Outstanding Student Involvement.
Ben was an editor for 2016 ACF Regionals in which he contributed two total questions. In his role as an editor for 2019 ACF Regionals he apparently contributed a third of a tossup.
