Peter Bergman is the current coach of Solon High School's quizbowl program. He was chosen to take over as coach for Bob Weiser after his retirement in 2015.

Early Life

Bergman attended high school in New Jersey, and later attended Ithaca College.

Post College

Bergman began working as an English and Film teacher at Solon in 1999. He became involved in quizbowl in 2015, after coach Bob Weiser began seeking a replacement for after his retirement. Bergman inherited a strong team, featuring Rohin Devanathan and John Xiang, consistently some of the best players in Ohio. The team won both the NAQT and OAC state championships in 2016, and placed T-34th at HSNCT.
