The school's colors are maroon and white and their mascot is the Bobcat. In recent years, the Bobcats' quiz bowl team has been lead to new heights by coach Adam Camac. Cy-Fair's "A" team placed 3rd in the 2022 Texas High School Division 2 State Tournament, with their "B" team finishing 9th out of 11 in the competition.
