Andrew Gao is a player for Chenery Middle School. He is known for creating the online, Google Sheets-based Pandruwu Sheetz scoresheet.
Andrew is a generalist, who mainly focuses on literature (coming 2nd at the 2021 IPNCT), geography, history, and current events.
Though first active in the 2020-2021 season, Andrew Gao played the 2022 IPNCT (finishing 3rd). The team he led, Chenery, placed second in the 2022 MSNCT after losing 310-280 in a one-game final against Longfellow Middle School. Additionally, a team comprised of him and Zym Zeldovich won the 2022 MINT ("MS NASAT"), after going 9-1 to clear the field.
Andrew has written for the novice sets CERES and MAKEMAKE, and the high school sets SHOW-ME and NASWM. Additionally, Andrew Gao is part of the editing team for MSQB Madness I and MSQB Madness II, a packet submission tournament written by (mostly new) 7th-9th graders.
