Does anyone know anything definitive about the current status and any possible future plans of ACE? It certainly seems defunct, which would suggest updates to the page, but it would be good to base editing decisions on specific information rather than inferences from the absence of information. :This is far from official and I have no way of citing a source, but I just heard from someone who attended one of the last ACE camps that Nick Clusserath was apparently having financial issues and the last camp was kind of sketchily run. Given that was several years ago and a replacement has popped up in the form of Qwiz, I think it's pretty unlikely this is going to ever get revived. 2019 Science Championship

While it is technically true that "The tournament was scheduled for the same weekend as PACE NSC; teams were unable to participate in both" it is also the case that the ACE Science Championship was, ultimately, an individual tournament for middle schoolers. The number of middle school teams who wished to participate in PACE NSC but could not due to critical individual members playing the Science Championship instead could not have been significant and was likely 0. There seemed to have originally been some intent (per the linked HSQB thread) to have a high school division, but this never actually came to pass. Matt Weiner (talk) 10:50, 19 January 2022 (CST)

Current status

Does anyone know anything definitive about the current status and any possible future plans of ACE? It certainly seems defunct, which would suggest updates to the page, but it would be good to base editing decisions on specific information rather than inferences from the absence of information. —Jonah (talk) 20:27, 24 July 2022 (CDT)
