Purdue University is a public university in West Lafayette, Indiana. Their quiz bowl team plays in the Midwest area. Purdue annually hosts the aptly-named Purdue Boilermaker Buzzathon and the IASP Indiana State Quiz Bowl Championship.
History
The Purdue Quiz Bowl team was founded sometime in 2011-2012, possibly in connection to the 2012 phenomenon as it may explain why four brand-new teams wished to play ACF Regionals potentially as a bucket-list item before the imminent apocalypse. After ten years of a little trolling, the Boilermakers busted out a DII win at the 2022 SCT.
