Eric Yin is a current player at WUSTL. During high school, they played for Ladue and was club president from 2019 to 2021.

Eric was the second scorer on Ladue's team at the 2021 ONCT, which placed 4th in the nation; they were also selected for the 2021 Missouri NASAT team, which placed 8th. They were widely considered to be the best high-school science player in Missouri. Eric has remained active in college, leading WUSTL's D2 team in scoring to a mid-field finish at the 2022 ICT.

In the community, Eric is an active editor noted for their science expertise. Their contributions include Saturnalia, CALISTO II, DART II and III, SHOW-ME, and 2022 ACF Fall. Eric also writes and edits for NAQT.

Outside of "good quizbowl", Eric was an avid participant in Ocean Bowl, where they led Ladue to 3rd and 1st place national finishes.
