Sycamore School is a small Preschool-8 school in Indianapolis, Indiana for gifted students. The school offers quiz bowl to its seventh and eighth graders.
Sycamore's A team has won every iteration of the IASP Junior Quiz Bowl Area Championship since its inception in 2022. At the 2024 championship, their A team, featuring Jeffrey Kirkendall, Shayen Maun, Gavin Sigua, and Evan Ting, set the all-time NAQT tournament record for points per 20 tossups heard across a tournament, with 670. This is the highest average across every tournament recorded in NAQT's database.
