Matt Jackson is the captain of Georgetown Day School's 2009-10 A-team. After two tournaments on GDS B his freshman and sophomore years, Matt joined the A team alongside Ian Eppler, whose ability to fraud widely contrasted with Matt's more scattered real knowledge.
Since Ian's graduation, Matt has been the top scorer at every tournament he's attended, including the Richard Montgomery Rumble on the Pike, the Maryland Fall Tournament, the TJIAT, VCU Winter, GSAC XVII, ACF Winter 2010, ZIGZAG, and Blue Hen XII (at which he also won the neg prize and the tournament playing solo).
Writing
Matt contributed questions and some editing work to the No Name Tournament set, played at GDS in 2008, and joined the Fall Novice Tournament project, writing many questions when a call for new writers became necessary. He wrote a substantial portion of, and edited, the 2010 Ben Cooper Memorial Tournament set, which was used at GDS on March 13th, 2010; it is also to be used for Vanderbilt's ABC Spring tournament and an Illinois mirror at Auburn High School.
