Theodore Jasper "Ted" Gioia is a quizbowler at Harvard. He specializes in literature questions.
Ted was the head editor for KLEE, both incarnations of Harvard International, and the 2008 T-Party. He also was an editor for 2008 ACF Fall, 2009 ACF Regionals, 2010 ACF Regionals, and 2011 ACF Regionals. He is also known for his hatred of common link literature tossups and for his overzealous promotion of questions on canonical books that people read rather than historical oddities.
High School
Ted lead a high-level Gonzaga team, which, among other notable results, won 5th place at 2007 PACE NSC. He was also a two-time PACE all-star.
College
His time at Harvard has seen some notable victories, including several wins at sub-national events, high finishes at ACF Nationals 2009, winning the undergraduate championship and placing 3rd overall at the ICT 2009 playing on a team with Dallas Simons, Andy Watkins, and Kyle Haddad-Fonda, and winning the 2011 ICT with Watkins, Simons, and Stephen Liu.
