Warren G. Harding entered the Ohio quizbowl scene on February 13, 2010 when it attended its first tossup-bonus format tournament at Solon, at which it finished in the top half of the field and team captain Michael Coates was the sixth highest overall scorer with 59.14PP20TH. The team attended several other pyramidal quizbowl events that year, qualifying for the 2010 HSNCT and the 2010 PACE NSC at the Bridgeport Invitational Tournament, both of which it attended.
