Zach placed second at the 2011 Region II SCT in New Paltz, NY.  His teammates were Travis Nemmer (with whom he attended Clarence High School), Pratyush Joshi, and Sarah Mye.

Zach has also attended MUT 2011, MAGNI, MOO, and ACF Fall 2011, at which Buffalo A finished at the top of the lower division.  That team consisted of Zach, Pratyush Joshi, and Matt Hill.
