Format is a term with multiple meanings in quizbowl discussion. It can refer to:
- Game format, namely, the style and arrangement of question types and question styles within the packets of a tournament. Examples include Tossup-bonus format, four-quarter format, VHSL format, and old PACE format.
- Tournament format, a.k.a. the schedule or schedule template used at a tournament
- Formatting, or the proper style and arrangement of text within a quizbowl packet according to guidelines
