York Chen formerly played quizbowl for Hunter and currently is a sophomore at Vassar College.
Playing Career
High School Career
York played for Hunter starting from late 2007, scoring minimally at his first tournament, Housh Classic at TJ. He led Hunter B to a 22nd place finish at the 2009 NSC and began playing on the A team. Along with Lily Chen, Richard Yu and Zihan Zheng, Hunter A finished 5th at 2012 HSNCT and defeated Bellarmine to win the 2012 NSC.
College Playing Days
He was the top scorer playing solo his freshman year at MIT's mirror of DII SCT [1]. He played alongside Ronald Yu at Yale's mirror of MUT. [2]
