Centralia is a member of the Clarence Cannon Conference which stretches from central Missouri to the northeasternmost parts of the state. Until 2010 the conference consisted of Palmyra, South Shelby, Monroe City, Louisiana, Mark Twain, Highland, and Macon.  In 2011, Clark County and Brookfield were added to the conference. All of the schools field JV and Varsity teams.

In 2009, Centralia again attended the Kirksville Tournament, but without their leading scorer they went 0-3 and didn’t make it to the semifinals.  Another tournament, the [[Rock Bridge]] Invitational, sent the Panthers home with a 1-3 record after losing to [[Richland (Missouri High School)|Richland]] in the first round of the afternoon games. 2010 marked a jump in attendance and accolades.  A 1-2 record and early departure from the Lions Legacy tournament started off Centralia’s season, but the Panthers then won the Monroe City Tournament, beating Hannibal, and took second at the Rock Bridge Invitational, losing to [[Helias]].  At both tournaments, Centralia fielded the top scorer.  Centralia attended their first NAQT event, the [[2010 NAQT Missouri Qualifier|Missouri Qualifier]] at Mizzou, but only finished 2-8, losing the small school championship to North Shelby.
