A.J. Collins was president of the Alabama Quiz Bowl Club from 2009 to 2013. In high school, he was instrumental in bringing Rappahannock County to national tournaments.
Bio
The former longtime captain of the Rappahannock County Quiz Bowl Team, A.J. joined a team in 2005 that was not active on the circuit and didn't frequently advance past the VHSL Bull Run District tournament. During the 2006-2007 school year, he was instrumental in bringing the team to its first VHSL state tournament. During the 2007-2008 school year, he led the team to a few more circuit events, and was the highest individual scorer at the 2008 NAQT Virginia State Tournament, and finished T-14 at PACE NSC that year.
