Lakeside School is a private grade 5-12 school in Seattle, Washington.

In 2005, Lakeside surprised many high school scene watchers by finishing in second place at the NAQT HSNCT to Thomas Jefferson, losing only to TJ during the course of the tournament. They also jumped out to a large lead in the final game and took TJ down to the last tossup--the only team to come within 280 points of TJ in any game at the HSNCT that year.

Prior to 2012, Lakeside was one of only two schools from west of the Mississippi to reach the finals of a good quizbowl national championship. The team consisted of Kyle Haddad-Fonda, Benjamin Bishop, Patrick Leahy, and Michael Dunn.

Outside of quizbowl, it should be noted that the Lakeside school has produces many notable alumni including Bill Gates and Paul Allen of Microsoft, and typically graduates 100% of their students.

They won the NAQT Washington State Championship in 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2016.
