Cole Timmerwilke is a player for the University of Illinois. He was named a member of the Second Team for the 2015 HSQBRank All-World Teams and First Team for the 2016 edition. Timmerwilke played for Washington Academy in middle school and is generally considered one of the greatest high school players in the history of Illinois quiz bowl. Timmerwilke won the varsity division of the 2016 US History Bee.
