Dr. John Barnes attended NC State and got his Ph.D. in Operations Research at Virginia Tech. He started teaching at Maggie Walker in 1997, teaching BC Calculus, Mathematical Modeling, and Linear Algebra, among other subjects. He is currently retired, and living quietly somewhere in North Carolina, although Maggie Walker students insist that he remains watching over them in spirit.
