The 2017 Small School National Championship Tournament was a tournament sponsored by NAQT and held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, Illinois April 28-30, 2017. This was the fourth SSNCT run by NAQT.
In this fourth iteration of the SSNCT, NAQT created two parallel tournaments: one for traditional public schools, and the other for charter and private schools. Further, within the traditional public tournament, there was a separate playoff for very small schools (VSS).
After the top four teams in the traditional public division, Raceland-Worthington, Southwestern A and Hallsville finished in a tie for fifth, with Moberly, West Point A, Russell, and Ottawa Hills A all finishing tied for 8th.
Danville won the VSS championship, followed by Raceland-Worthington, Hallsville, and Ottawa Hills A.
