Alex Schmidt was a quizbowl player for Lehigh Valley Academy in high school and later Penn State in college. Schmidt won the 2014 Middle School National History Bee and the 2015 JV National History Bee. He currently holds the record for highest individual single-game performance on an NAQT IS Set, with a score of 255 on a 15-3-0 statline at the 2016 Henderson Invitational. [1]
