ARTSEE (Artistic Reification Tournament - Summer Edification Edition) was a fine arts side event edited by Will Alston, who wrote the tournament with Jarret Greene, Athena Kern, and Kai Smith. It was played in the summer of 2016 at Michigan, NYU, UC San Diego, and Online.
It caused controversy at the time for its use of singular they pronouns in only some questions, which caused much confusion among the players, and which Jerry Vinokurov notably called "one of the most misguided things I have witnessed in recent qb memory". Its discussion thread contains one of the more sustained discussions about the role of gender representation in the arts distribution.
