Frank Grabowski is a current sophomore at Lafayette College and former captain of the High Technology High School academic team. He was co-captain with Karen Li and Selena Liu for the shortened 2019–20 season and a member of High Tech A, after being on High Tech C from 2016 to 2019. Individually, Frank qualified for the National History Bee in 2018 and 2019, and he was a finalist in the 2019 National Sports and Entertainment History Bee. He was a part of High Tech C for PACE's NSC in 2018 and NAQT's HSNCT in 2019, as well as a part of High Tech B for NSC in 2019.
Frank considers himself to be a music nerd. He is a noted proponent of trash in quizbowl (much to the community's chagrin) and boasts that he can first-line "most NBA tossups." Despite his deep knowledge of basketball, he is considered to be a generalist.
Presence in the Northeast Circuit
In his senior year, Frank became much more active socially in the Northeast Quiz Bowl circuit. In the region, he is renowned for being pressured by members of Livingston into buying a plush of an Oshawott, which was named "Oshie."
