Eleanor Roosevelt High School is a large public high school in the DC suburb of Greenbelt, Maryland. They have a history of success at early pyramidal quizbowl and It's Academic, including a third place finish at the 2000 HSNCT and a third place finish at the 1999 and 2002 NSC. In more recent years, the program has attended far fewer events.
According to Matt Bollinger, ER hosted a yearly speed tournament as recently as February 2009; results and statistics for this tournament are difficult to verify.
