The Montana-Wyoming All-Star Academic Challenge is an annual competition that pits all-star teams from Wyoming and Montana against each other. It was created when tournament organizers wanted to continue a Wyoming-Montana rivalry after the Panasonic Academic Challenge (NTAE) folded in 2009. The event consists of five rounds of five rounds of 60 tossups, with the winner being decided by cumulative score. Questions are supplied by Academic Hallmarks and foreign language, trash, and computational math questions are asked.
