A then-Governor's School team which finished third at the NAC, beating Dorman in a come-from-behind New Orleans semifinal before losing to tournament champions James Island. Lineup was regular senior A team members Tim Maness, Rupa Mishra, Mark Walker, and Brian Gross, with B team captains Matt Weiner, and Ben Neale as occasional alternates. Coached by Ken Wilkins.

This team also won tournaments at St. Anne's-Belfield and Virginia Tech, as well as the Colonial District and Central Region titles in VHSL Scholastic Bowl. Second-place finishes included the VHSL state tournament, the Cavalier Classic, and the Midlothian tournament.

Maggie Walker sent its 1999 JV team of Weiner, Neale, Jimmy Hare, and Megan Laswell to the PACE NSC, where they made the playoffs but proceeded to lose every Sunday game, presumably finishing twelfth overall.
