Gordon Arsenoff played quizbowl for WUSTL from 2007 through 2012 as a grad student. He also played for Rochester from 2002 through 2006 as an undergrad.

He did not play an ACF Fall until his second year of grad school, though in 2005 he directed ACF Fall without using a computer.

Arsenoff left CBI NCT 2005 overnight between the prelims and playoffs to fulfill a one-credit choral singing obligation. Rochester lost both games of an advantaged final to Minnesota and finished second.

Notable for not actually knowing stuff, Arsenoff describes his participation style as like that of Mike Bentley, but without the writing or podcasting.

Arsenoff came up with FRIAR, one of the metrics submitted as a possible open-source replacement for the S-Value in 2009-10.

In early 2012, Arsenoff created WUStL Updates Statistics Live!, a site for live scorekeeping and stats; janky, unapologetically Web 1.0, and now largely abandonware, WUStL! nonetheless prefigured much of the functionality later more professionally implemented in Mostafa Bhuiyan's Neg5.
