Jake Sundberg
Jake Sundberg, a senior majoring in mathematics, was the president of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Club for Academic Competition from 2005 to 2010. He is also the club's leader in nearly all statistical areas. He is consistently a top scorer in competitions in the southeast and southwest regions, finishing in the top 5 in scoring in every tournament he has played in but one since the start of the 2008-2009 season. He currently plays quizbowl for Alabama.
In his first term as president, the "A-Team" won the 2006 Southwest D2 SCT and advanced to the NAQT ICT, held at the University of Maryland. They defeated Tulane 330-210 in the championship game to advance to ICT.
Also, in his first campaign as president, the team consisting of Jake Sundberg, Scott Broussard, Sumedh Deoras, and German Acuna won the 2006 Sword Bowl mirror held at the University of Oklahoma.
His strengths as a player include math, physics, and sports, as well as some areas of mythology, but his general knowledge base has grown somewhat in the past year or so.

Fifth-leading scorer at Ragnarok I, averaging 68.1 per game.
Fourth-leading scorer at ACF Fall 2006 Southeast, averaging 50.4 per game.
Ninth-leading scorer in D1 at COTKU, averaging 26.7 per game.
Leading scorer at Old Cajun Grandma Invitational II, averaging 63.9 per game.
2008 - 2009 Season
4th at EFT Mirror at Florida State, averaging 55.7 per game.
3rd at NAQT Sectionals, averaging 43.0 per game.
1st at MUT, averaging 72.9 per game.
