Adam Goldenberg is currently the full-time speechwriter for Michael Ignatieff, leader of Canada's Official Opposition. [1] He has also appeared at least twice in Maclean's magazine's "Capital Diaries", the equivalent of a gossip column for Parliament.

Reach for the Top

Goldenberg played Reach for the Top at St. George's school in BC. He appeared at Nationals a (believed to be) record 5 times. As captain in his final year, he led the 2004 St. George's team to the championship.

SmartAsk!

Goldenberg was the captain of the team from St. George's that appeared on SmartAsk! in the 2002-03 season. After achieving the highest point total of the season in their first game, the team was upset in the second round. For the 2003-04 season, Goldenberg was slated to be captain of the team again, but unfortunately had a skiing accident shortly before taping.

Quizbowl

Goldenberg played at the 2004 VETO as part of a mixed team of recently-graduated high school students. He attended Harvard, but pursued campus journalism instead of quizbowl.
