Talk:NAQT documentary

Is there any corroboration that TeamworksMedia was the company involved, or that there were never actual plans to release a documentary? There's no citation for either, and given that some of Zachary's other edits to QBWiki around this timeframe were erroneous, I'd hope someone can find or provide more evidence of who made this trailer and what the plans were (or were not) for a larger film. --Matt Jackson 8/28/2022
- I don't know which company it was, but I am relatively certain that there were actual plans to release a documentary. NAQT higher-ups from that time, especially R., would know more than me. David Reinstein (talk) 18:15, 28 August 2022 (CDT)
- I can confirm that it was TeamWorks Media from two sources: emails that TeamWorks sent to Reinstein, which he forwarded to the 2008 New Trier team, and internal NAQT documents. From the former source, it sounds like the promotional video was intended to pitch the idea of a much longer documentary, but sponsors didn't bite so the longer one was never made. There were plans to film more at the 2008 HSNCT, but I don't think that happened. The internal NAQT documents don't clarify any of this (as far as I can tell from quick skims). —Jonah (talk) 18:51, 28 August 2022 (CDT)
