Maximilian Razmjoo is a player for Sage Hill in Southern California. He formerly was exclusively a history bee player during his time at the Pegasus School. He was very active in the SoCal regional NHBB circuit for years, starting when he was in 4th grade, but now seems to only play general quizbowl.

Career & individual achievements

He won three consecutive ACE NHB Elementary & Middle School regional bee championships, from 2017-2019.

Max also attended nationals of the NHBB every year since 2016, including the JV High School nats since 2018 (when he was in 6th grade). At the 2019 JV National Championship, he was 4-1 in his consolation bracket.

In June 2019, Razmjoo set a personal best by finishing 3rd out of all 7th grade competitors at the "new" middle school NHBB nationals tournament, which was run by IAC for the first time in 7 years, after a contract termination with ACE.
