Thurgood Marshall School is a 5-8 school in Rockford, Illinois which houses the Rockford Public School District's gifted program. Thurgood Marshall's quizbowl team was coached by Deb Johns until 2021, by Sherrill Pruitt in the 2021-22 year, and by Kristin Strey from 2022 to 2024. As of the 2024-25 school year, Deb Johns has returned as coach of the program.
Thurgood Marshall participated at the MSNCT in 2012, 2015, and 2024. In the 2015 MSNCT, the school's team gained 12th place out of 128.
