The 2023 PACE National Scholastic Championship was held on June 10th & 11th at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, IL.
Barrington defeated Thomas Jefferson (Alexandria, VA) in the second game of an advantaged final to win their first NSC title. In doing so, they became the first team since 2014 LASA to win the HSNCT and NSC titles in a single year.
Trivia
By reaching the final, TJ accrued the longest consecutive streak of finals appearances by any high school at a national championship, with 5 (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023 NSCs); the previous record was co-held by State College (1998-2001 NSCs, winning all four) and LASA (2013-2016 NSCs, winning the even-numbered ones).
