Gordon Arsenoff plays quizbowl for WUSTL. He also played for Rochester as an undergrad.
He did not play an ACF Fall until his second year of grad school, though in 2005 he directed ACF Fall without using a computer.
Arsenoff had to leave CBI NCT 2005 overnight between the prelims and playoffs to fulfill a one-credit choral singing obligation. Rochester lost both games of an advantaged final to Minnesota and finished second.
Notable for not actually knowing stuff, Arsenoff describes his participation style as like that of Mike Bentley, but without the writing or podcasting.
Arsenoff came up with FRIAR, one of the metrics submitted as a possible open-source replacement for the S-Value in 2009-10.
