Michael VanDeWeghe is a junior at the University of Minnesota. He is helping to write the 2011 Minnesota High School Novice Tournament. He played on the Minnesota D team at the 2011 SCT North (Region 10), placing 6th with Paul Barta, Melanie Keating, Kelsey McCoy, and Alex Nelson. At the 2010 SCT North (Region 10), he played on the 6th place Minnesota D team with Eliza Grames and Tianna Pilipovic.
