University of Chicago economics professor and co-author of the 2005 bestseller Freakonomics, played for St. Paul Academy in Minnesota in the 1980s. Wikipedia claims he led that school to two national championship appearances; presumably NAC, as the "Minnesota Quiz Bowl" ran on Chip questions then.
