Captain of the Ellensburg High School (Ellensburg, WA) Knowledge Bowl/Apple Bowl/Quiz Bowl team from 2007-2010. Was top individual scorer at the 2010 NAQT High School State Championship at the University of Washington with 55.56 ppg. University of Washington Quiz Bowl Vice President from 2010-present. Top-scorer at the Early Autumn Collegiate Novice Tournament 2011. Fourth-highest scorer at the 2012 NAQT Region 14 Tournament.
