Kecoughtan High School is located in Hampton in southeast Virginia and is coached by Ronald Lieberum. Kecoughtan is active in VHSL.
In VHSL, Kecoughtan was part of the VHSL Eastern Region until the 2014 VHSL Realignment. After the 2014 realignment, the school became part of VHSL Region 6A South. They were moved down to VHSL Region 5A South after the 2014-15 season. As a result of the 2018 VHSL Realignment, Kecoughtan will become part of VHSL Class 5 Region A starting with the 2017-18 season.
Kecoughtan placed second at the 2006 Eastern Region tournament and second at the 2017 Conference 10 tournament.
Kecoughtan played Battle of the Brains between 2005 and 2008, when there was a Hampton Roads show. They won the 2005 Battle of the Brains "Southeastern District" (the Hampton Roads show), coached by Heather Greer, but lost to Charlottesville in the championship game. The school subsequently placed ninth in 2006 and fifth in 2007.
