I was a member of the Fairfield Community High School Scholastic Bowl team in Fairfield, Illinois, from 2008-2012, serving as team captain first of the JV team from 2008-2010 and later as the captain of the varsity team from 2010-2012. I received IHSSBCA All-Sectional honors my junior and senior year and First Team All-State Honors my senior year, in addition to being named to various All-Tournament teams and receiving tournament MVP awards.
