Em Powers currently plays Quizbowl for WUSTL. In high school, they were widely recognized as one of the best players in Missouri, leading Louisiana High School to two consecutive Class 2 MSHSAA state championships, two consecutive Very Small School titles at the NAQT Missouri Qualifier, and consecutive 6th- and 4th-place finishes in the Very Small School division of SSNCT.
