The 2018 ACF Regionals took place on January 20, 2018 at twelve sites throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The tournament was edited by head editor Auroni Gupta, and editors Will Alston, Stephen Eltinge, Will Holub-Moorman, and Kenji Shimizu.
It was the first ACF tournament to use detailed stats, the first and only ACF tournament to use a genre-based rather than geography-based literature distribution, and the first ACF Regionals that asked for teams to submit half-packets rather than full packets.
Although the questions were considered to be of good quality, it is often described as the hardest ACF Regionals of the 2010s.
