Users must register with a username that consists precisely of their first and last name, plus disambiguating information if necessary. When your registration is approved, you must edit your user page to include, at a minimum, any quizbowl-relevant affiliations (past or present, teams or organizations, etc.). If you wish, you may make your user page a redirect to a page about you, provided that said page contains affiliation information.
If you feel that these rules should not apply to you, contact the site administrator and plead your case.
