State Championships
New Jersey Middle School State Championship
John Adams Middle School in the 2020-21 season enjoyed a win at the New Jersey State Championship, with the duo of Mihir Tadeparti and Thomas Catuosco breaking the Hoppes-Mikanowski limit. They did not attend MSNCT, but were ranked highly among middle school teams in the 2021 season.
In 2023, John Adams Middle School restarted its quiz bowl club with a new team. Despite being a newly formed team, they quickly made their mark in the quiz bowl circuit. The A team had a strong showing at the New Jersey Middle School State Championship, placing fifth overall.
TQBA Bluebell
John Adams placed first at the TQBA Middle School Bluebell Invitational. Shastha Venkatesh led their B team, coming first place in individual overall scoring.
Science Bowl
The John Adams A team came third place at the NJ Science Bowl Regionals at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory hosted by the Department of Energy and 1st place at the MCA Science Bowl Competition.
